Malta

The Maltese archipelago is located 93 kilometers south of Sicily and 288 kilometers north of Africa, almost in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. The archipelago is made up of three islands: Malta, Gozo, and Comino, which together have a population of over 500,000 people and span over 316 square kilometers.

Malta is the largest island and serves as a cultural, commercial, and administrative hub. Gozo is the second largest island and is more rural, with fishing, tourism, crafts, and agriculture as its main industries. The smallest of the three islands, Comino, is entirely uninhabited.

There is plenty to see and do, with excellent weather, beautiful beaches, a vibrant nightlife, and 7,000 years of fascinating history.
